Your privacy matters. This policy explains what Rento VPN collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service, and we never sell your personal information.

• Account details — the username, password (stored hashed), and contact details (such as email or phone) you provide when registering or signing up as a reseller.
• Billing information — handled by our payment partners (PayFast and Paystack). We receive confirmation of payment and reference details; we do not store your full card or banking credentials.
• Service & technical data — limited information needed to operate accounts and prevent abuse, such as connection counts, bandwidth totals against your plan limit, server assignment, and the approximate location/device shown in your activity list.

2. VPN traffic

Rento VPN is built to protect your browsing. We do not aim to monitor or sell the contents of your VPN traffic. We may process minimal operational metadata (for example, total bandwidth used or whether a server is online) to keep the network running and enforce plan limits, but we do not build profiles of your browsing for advertising.

3. How we use your information

• To create, deliver and maintain your account and the VPN service.
• To process payments, renewals and reseller credits.
• To provide support and respond to your messages.
• To protect the service against fraud, abuse and security threats.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies & sessions

The panel uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. These are required for the site to function; we do not use them for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the providers needed to run the service (such as payment processors and hosting), or where required by law. Resellers can see the accounts they create; if you are a reseller's customer, that reseller is responsible for your account.

6. Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting or security purposes. You can ask us to delete your account, after which we remove personal data that we are not required to retain.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including hashed passwords and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your credentials safe and tell us about any suspected compromise.

Rento VPN is not intended for children under the age required by your local law to consent to online services, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
